Y.A.S.S Program Overview:

Welcome to the YASS (Young Adult Supplemental Skills) Program, an initiative of Speak into the Light that provides young adults with the opportunity to develop essential life and work skills. Our program is available both in-person and virtually and offers an excellent opportunity for young adults to volunteer and give back to their communities. Additionally, we offer documentation for program participants to fulfill graduation or county benefits requirements.

Our program aims to prepare young adults for successful futures by covering topics such as career exploration, interview skills, job search techniques, resume development, financial management, and networking. We believe that community service is a vital component of this growth, and that's why our program partners with community organizations to offer volunteer opportunities to participants. Volunteers will gain real-world experience, build connections, and develop leadership skills.
